Made to order in Yerevan. Send the design and the price comes back with it; 6 to 10 days to make once a size is agreed. It drains straight through, which is what a plant that likes to dry out wants.
Modular pots. Separate stacking rings, removable feet and a tray you can use or leave off.
Separate rings fit together; a ring can be changed without replacing the whole shell.
The designer on this one
Armenia stands on hexagonal columns — the gorge at Garni is a wall of them, and nobody had to design that. Six faces is the number the rock itself arrives at as it cools, so this is closer to an acknowledgement than an invention.
Review and request
This sends the design exactly as it stands above, and the price comes back with it. It arrives as a project file, so a size or a colour can change without you starting again.
The numbers
| Size | Outer ∅ | Height | Planting chamber | Wall |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| S | 124 mm | 150 mm | 119 mm | 2.4 mm |
| M | 139 mm | 170 mm | 134 mm | 2.4 mm |
| L | 164 mm | 195 mm | 159 mm | 2.4 mm |
| XL | 204 mm | 210 mm | 199 mm | 2.4 mm |
Outer is what the pot measures across its widest point. The plant goes straight into the chamber, and the drainage is cut in the pot’s own floor. These are the figures the pieces are drawn to rather than measurements off a finished one.
What it suits
- Cacti free draining, never stands in water
- Succulents wide, shallow, dries right through
