The designer on this one
Full across the middle and drawn in at both ends, which is a squash and also a very old shape for a pot. Three of them down the centre of a table is the whole idea, which is why it is drawn to be bought in threes.

Outer is what the pot measures across its widest point. The nursery pot is what drops inside it. These are the figures the pieces are drawn to rather than measurements off a finished one.
