Made to order in Yerevan. Send the design and the price comes back with it; 6 to 10 days to make once a size is agreed. It drains straight through, which is what a plant that likes to dry out wants.
Pots with drainage and a tray. Plant directly into the pot. Round bottom holes, short feet and a separate catch tray; no liner.
Drawn short on purpose — the height is about six sevenths of the width, which is the proportion one stone of a column arrives at. An L Drum is as wide across as an L Bar and sits lower.
The designer on this one
A drum is one stone of a column and a column is a stack of them. Drawn on its own at this proportion it stops belonging to anything larger and becomes a complete object — low, wide and entirely settled. It is the one that went on my coffee table and has not been moved since.
Review and request
This sends the design exactly as it stands above, and the price comes back with it. It arrives as a project file, so a size or a colour can change without you starting again.
The numbers
| Size | Outer ∅ | Height | Planting chamber | Wall |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| M | 139 mm | 118 mm | 133 mm | 3 mm |
| L | 164 mm | 139 mm | 158 mm | 3 mm |
| XL | 204 mm | 173 mm | 198 mm | 3 mm |
Outer is what the pot measures across its widest point. The plant goes straight into the chamber, and the drainage is cut in the pot’s own floor. These are the figures the pieces are drawn to rather than measurements off a finished one.
What it suits
