Made to order in Yerevan. Send the design and the price comes back with it; 6 to 10 days to make once a size is agreed. It drains straight through, which is what a plant that likes to dry out wants.
Pots with drainage and a tray. Plant directly into the pot. Round bottom holes, short feet and a separate catch tray; no liner.
The designer on this one
The same bars, finer and half again as many. Past a certain count the eye gives up counting and reads a surface instead, and that is the moment I was after — the wall turns from architecture into cloth somewhere between the two. It is the one I would give a small plant that wants to be the loud thing on the shelf.
Review and request
This sends the design exactly as it stands above, and the price comes back with it. It arrives as a project file, so a size or a colour can change without you starting again.
The numbers
| Size | Outer ∅ | Height | Planting chamber | Wall |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| XS | 94 mm | 120 mm | 88 mm | 3 mm |
| S | 124 mm | 150 mm | 118 mm | 3 mm |
| M | 139 mm | 170 mm | 133 mm | 3 mm |
| L | 164 mm | 195 mm | 158 mm | 3 mm |
Outer is what the pot measures across its widest point. The plant goes straight into the chamber, and the drainage is cut in the pot’s own floor. These are the figures the pieces are drawn to rather than measurements off a finished one.
What it suits
- Hoya snug, dries out between waterings
- Succulents wide, shallow, dries right through
